Tuesday May 7: The Healing Mantras of Lord Shiva
Join Shubhraji as she presents the symbolism and mantras connected with Hindu deity Lord Shiva. (Śiva). Śiva is the Supreme Consciousness and the Lord of Creative Destruction.
Mantras empower us at many levels.
Mantra chanting generates spiritual vibrations. The energies generated through the sound and the power in the words of the mantras create a protective shield around us while healing us of long-standing emotional issues.
Shubhraji will guide us to chant mantras the Vedic way and explain the significance and symbolism of each chant.
We will learn their correct pronunciation and how to use these mantras in the appropriate way.
The combination of breath and sound creates an outer and inner environment that help us with:

Wednesday May 8: The Gītā Dhyānam
The Bhagavad Gītā is a sacred text (found in the middle of the epic Mahābhārata) long revered in India as a spiritual and practical handbook for daily living. The Gītā opens on the battlefield with Prince Arjuna unwilling to fight against his own cousins – the Kauravas, who have unlawfully usurped the kingdom of his family - the Pandavas. His divine charioteer, who is none other than the Lord Krishna himself, gives him a discourse on the meaning of life, dharma and karma which ultimately resolves his dilemma.
The Gītā Dhyānam is a 9-verse Sanskrit prayer which is recited before commencing the study of Gīta.
It is customary to chant meditation verses before starting any scriptural text.
This helps focus our mind on the text and set the tone for the deeper study of that text. The verses also reveal the divine nature of Lord Krishna, the Supreme Consciousness.
Shubhraji will explain each verse and set the context of The Bhagavad Gītā’s relevance, weaving meaningful stories connected with Lord Krishna and the Gītā.
She will touch upon some principles of Vedānta that can help us navigate our life with ease..
SHUBHRAJI
who is originally from India, is a close disciple of renowned Vedantic Master H.H. Swami Chinmayananda and studied with him for twenty years.
Using original Sanskrit texts such as the Bhagavad Gita and the Upanishads, Shubhraji lectures on a diverse range of topics. Shubhraji brings earthy, good-humored exposition to her teachings. She travels internationally, teaching extensively in several academic institutions like St John's College in New Mexico, Harvard Business School in Boston, London Business School in London, UK and many yoga studios as well as addressing yoga festivals across the world.
She is an award-winning author of the book, In the Lotus of the Heart: The Essence of Relationships.

Specifically, there is not right of withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht) for bookings of special events like workshops/masterclasses However, if you are prevented to come, you can name a replacement person, who has not yet registered with us, who can come instead of you.
